Schedule, August 20-26

This week starts with a joshi wrestler challenging for the CMLL world title, as former LLPW worker Raven Hiroka challenges champion Lady Apache (Fabi's ex stepmother). Then on Friday we get weird indy sleaze action, as Toshie Uematsu, who seemingly works every joshi show and joshi offer match, teams with old-timer Jumbo Hori against Dump Matsumoto and Sasori.

The weekend picks up with big shows from NEO and JWP and the debut of the WAVE promotion. NEO has a 7-match card on Saturday in Nagoya, including a main event of Yoshiko Tamura and Jaguar Yokota vs Mariko Yoshida and Kyoko Kimura. It's nice to see Mariko work a big main event match. She's almost too unselfish in working lower card stuff with her trainees.

On Sunday, JWP runs Korakuen Hall and offers us a 3-match series between 6 JWP workers and the 6 women on the Sendai Girls roster, along with a JWP Championship match between champion Azumi Hyuga and challenger Amazing Kong, who is bad in Japan and working several shows for NEO, JWP, and SUN. Pro-Wrestling WAVE has their first show at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring. WAVE's leader GAMI will work two matches, the "Opening WAVE" curtain-jerker against Kyoko Kimura and the "Comical WAVE", teamed with either Command Bolshoi or the Bolshoi Kid against the NEO Machine Gunz duo of Tanny Mouse and Yuki Miyazaki. The main event "Resurrection WAVE" features the return of JD athress Yumi Ohka, now part of the WAVE roster and teaming with Michiko Ohmuaki againstWAVE trainer Toshie Uematsu (there she is again-she really doesn't want to find a regular job!) and her normal partner Ran Yu-Yu.
