In WAVE, rookie Kayo Fujimori has broken her leg in training and is out indefinitely. In ring action, there was a major upset as Moeka Haruhi & Tomoka Nakagawa defeated favored Shu Shibutani & Ayumi Kurihara in the semifinals of the tournament for the newly created TLW Championship for young women's tag teams. Moeka pinned Shu and I think she used a variation of the High Angle Uematsu finishing maneuver. They will face the winner of the Cherry & Apple Miyuki vs Mio & Io Shirai match next month.

Shu did get a win at the MAKEHEN show, as she teamed with Moeka & Yumi Ohka to beat the Shirai sisters and Mikado, with big Mikado taking the fall. Shuri "Tyrannosaurus" Okuda will make her MAKEHEN debut next month and her new ring name will be revealed.

JWP continues to set up their MANIA-X show on 4/12. Command Bolshoi & Megumi Yabushita defeated Toshie Uematsu & Ran Yu-Yu in a best 2 of 3 falls match to win a title shot against Yumiko Hotta & Keito. Toshie & Megumi exchanged the first two falls before Bolshoi pinned Ran in the final fall. We will also have Kayoko Haruyama vs Azumi Hyuga for the JWP singles title in a potential JMOTY.

NEO ran 2 shows on Sunday the 29th. The notable result was Big Momma Kyoko Inoue and Hiroyo Matsumoto winning the NEO tag belts from holders Kyoko Kimura & Atsuko Emoto, as Big Kyoko used a Lariat on Crazy Kyoko. Hiroyo continues being the most pushed young wrestler in joshi, as she has now won both the OZ and NEO tag titles this year and is the current holder of the JWP Junior & POP singles titles. I expect Hiroyo's next defense of the junior titles will be against the winner of Sendai's 2nd Jaja Uma tournament for young wrestlers.

The quarterfinals of that tournament were in Sendai. We will have two Senjo vs Ibuki semifinals. Sendai Sachiko defeated Yoko Yamada and will face Misaki Ohata, who drew with Hanako Kobayashi but advanced on the lighter weight stipulation. Ryo Mizunami beat Chihiro Oikawa and will face the big Mongolian girl Esui, who chokeslammed poor wittle DASH Chisako. My guess is a Miz/Ohata finals with Miz winning the tournament and getting a shot at Hiroyo at Ibuki's Korakuen Hall show in May. Hopefully at some point the teachers (Meiko Satomura & Mariko Yoshida) will come out to play.
