Very little happened in the ring this week.  Ayumi Kurihara had her 5th anniversary match at an unusual location: outside the baseball stadium for the Chiba Lotte Marines.  She teamed with GAMI and beat Toshie Uematsu and Shu Shibutani via a modified back arm throw on Shu.

Shibutani had returned from her broken nose earlier in the week, at a midweek WAVE show.  She lost in the main event to Kana, the same wrestler who had injured her.  NEO's house show in Sano (a small city in Tochigi Prefecture) was notable in that Nanae Takahashi didn't wrestle due to a (presumably) minor injury and was replaced by Manami Toyota.  Toyota beat Tomoko Morii.  Morii's jobbing partner Hanako Kobayashi lost in the main event, taking a powerbomb from Big Auntie Kaoru Ito. Ito's teammate was Noriyo Tateno and Hanako's was Big Momma Kyoko Inoue.  Oh, and according to Wikipedia the city of Sano is known for its outlet mall and its ramen.  Sounds like a really exciting place.

Ice Ribbon had a couple of small shows, setting up the Golden Ribbon event at Korakuen Hall.  They have a new rookie debuting next week.  Her name is Sayaka Obihiro and she's 23.  Oh, and Yumiko Inoue had her re-debut, losing to tiny Chii Tomiya.  As we all know, pro-wrestlers never really retire and apparently this includes the JD Star athtresses.  Yumiko's gonna be 30 later this year, so that must have triggered some sort of not-quite-mid-life crisis, the same malady that struck Yumi Ohka and Asami Kawasaki. Emi Sakura is letting Mai Ichii win matches (I guess to give her some pseudo credibility before her pseudo MMA match with Emi Fujino) and Morishima's little sister Minori Makiba worked for the first time in months.
