Schedule, October 22-28

Joshi will be all over Japan this week. The SUN girls are on tour with ZERO1-MAX and will be in Iwate on Monday (22nd) and Niigata on Wednesday. In Tokyo, WAVE will have the usual Tuesday Night Joshi at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring. Yumi Ohka teams with her opponent from last week, Misaki Ohata, against Cherry and Kyoko Kimura. Tojuki Leon tries her luck with submission specialist Megumi Yabushita, and "LOVE WAVE" features the soon-to-be-retired Michiko Ohmukai against WAVE ace GAMI.

Later in the week gives us some offbeat indy action. UNION is running on Thursday at the Tokyo City Valley Icebox. Sakura Emi faces 726, while Cherry and Chou-un Shiryu face Prince Mickey and Ice Ribbon kid Riho. Friday night has VKF running in Osaka, featuring the bizarre match featuring Kikutaro and Ram-chan the 666 Girl take on Xena and Francoise*. The world will learn "Can 666 Girl carry Francoise better than Bambi?" I say yes. In Tokyo that evening, WMF gives us Kyoko Kimura against Asian Coogar.

NEO is in Nagano on Saturday. Yuki Miyazaki is more serious, as she teams with Yoshiko Tamura rather than Tanny Mouse against Etsuko Mita and Yumiko Hotta. It's the first anniversary for hometown girl Nagisa Nozaki. She teams with Jaguar Yokota (the same age as Nagisa's father) against Misae Genki and Toshie Uematsu (no, she didn't take the week off!)

Several minor shows are taking place on Sunday. Both JWP and NEO are running dojo shows. JWP's trainee Mayuka Shinzeki has an exhibition agaisnt Aska Ohki before her formal debut in a few months. K-DOJO is in Sapporo and the Sendai Girls (with Meiko on the sidelines) are wrestling some matches at a local auto race. Niigata sees a visit by the Oz Academy. The semi-final is Aja & AKINO against Carlos Amano and Manami Toyota, with a main event to be a tag match to be announced. WAVE is at the usual Shin-Kiba. with Toshie & Ran battling LLPW's Succubi (Eiger and Sayuri Okino). GAMBLE Wave features Kyoko Kimura vs GAMI; I think the loser has to adopt the winnner's hairdo. Let's hope Kyoko wins.
