Schedule, December 10-16

Another busy week is upcoming in joshi puroresu. Chick Fights SUN will be in action against the Hawai'i Championship Wrestling Wahine Division (i.e. Tracy Taylor) in several matches this week from Japan and Hawai'i. This is part of the ZERO1-MAX/SUN/HCW series of shows.

The action starts on Tuesday and Wednesday from Shin-Kiba 1st Ring. Tracy Taylor will partner with "Hula" Kong against the SUN ladies. Many of the matches this week have silly stipulations like "Losers must dance with coconut bras". Matches on Thursday and Friday come from Nagoya and Nagano. Then Saki Maemura and Hikaru fly to Honolulu. Saki defends her AWA championship against Tracy Taylor on Saturday the 15th, while Hikaru is in a mixed gender match against Superfly Ete. Matches to be announced later will take place on the 16th. Maybe Saki and Hikaru will clean up Hawai'i again.

LLPW has their first show at Korakuen Hall in months on Friday the 14th. Highlights include a Glamour Angels match with participants TBA (trannies to be announced), Francoise's final trial match against Jaguar Yokota (what happens if Francoise fails? probably nothing), Shinobu Kandori and Ayako Sato against Harley Saito and Takako Inoue, and a main event of Noriyo Tateno and Mizuki Endo against Yumiko Hotta and a mystery partner. Gee, I hope the mystery partner is Eiger ;-)

NEO and Ice Ribbon are teaming up for the Sakura Emi Festival in Chiba on Saturday. Highlights include Youth Green and Adviser (Aoi Kizuki, Nagisa Nozaki, and Toshie Uematsu) against the JWP squad of Tsubasa Kuragaki, Kayoko Haruyama, and Kaori Yoneyama, Haruka Matsuo getting kicked by Mai Ichii, and Yoshiko Japan-America SuperDIVA vs. SUN: Hula Kong & Tracy Taylor vs. Hikaru &Tamura & Sakura Emi taking on the nasty old lady duo of Manami Toyota and Yumiko Hotta. K-DOJO will also be in action on Saturday (and Sunday as well).
Three shows on Sunday finish the week. WAVE's final Tokyo show of the year features GAMI in two matches. First, GAMI matches power with Hiroyo Matsmoto. The main is "WAVE of WAVEs" featuring the first singles meeting between GAMI and Yumi Ohka. Ito Dojo will run a rare show at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring. It's a one-day tag team tournament with 6 teams. The favorite is probably Kaoru Ito & Manami Toyota, who will advance to the finals if they beat Yumiko Hotta & Tomoko Morii, while the other teams must win twice to make the final.
The OZ Academy will end their year with "GOLDEN ROSE" at Shinjuku FACE. First, Mayumi Ozaki & Aja Kong face KAORU & Police. Something smells fishy here; I sense something screwy could happen. The semifinals and final of the #1 Contender's Tournament will take place, with Dynamite Kansai vs Ran Yu-Yu and AKINO vs Carlos Amano. I predict a Kansai vs AKINO final, with AKINO winning. Chikayo Nagashima and Sonoko Kato are still bickering. Chikayo will team with Toyota and Sonoko with Hotta to continue the never-ending feud. Gee, Yumiko's working a lot recently. I guess she's more popular when she isn't the booker.
