JWP had a couple of shows this week. Friday 11/20 saw the next challengers for the NEO High Speed and JWP/Daily Sports tag belts decided. There was an upset in a three way match, as Ito Dojo's Ayako Sato poached a victory in the High Speed #1 Contender's Match. Tojuki Leon had Command Bolshoi in a jackknife hold, and Sato got on top to steal a win and get a shot at Kaori Yoneyama. Natsuki*Taiyo and "Passion Hottei" beat Tsubasa Kuragaki & Sachie Abe to get the next shot at Yoneyama & Emi Sakura. Sunday was a small dojo show. Kayoko Haruyama isn't just the JWP champion and current ace of the promotion, she's the #1 Food Fighter, beating KAZUKI in a match that involved eating boiled eggs, drinking coca-cola, and competitive eating of rice balls.
NEO had their final "Stronghold in Japan" show of the year. Earlier, they had visited Osaka, Fukuoka, and Sapporo and this time were in Nagoya. They only drew 373 fans. Kyoko Inoue beat Dump Matsumoto and I heard DEAN and Phil Schneider were trying to book a rematch for their Fat Boys show. The main event saw Nanae Takahashi & Kana retain the NEO tag titles over fellow Passion Red stablemates Natsuki*Taiyo & Ray, with Kana using a Mawashi Kick on Taiyo.
