At the JWP midweek show, Tojuki Leon scored a nice singles victory over Azumi Hyuga, who seems to be putting much of the JWP roster over on her road to retirement. Kaori Yoneyama & Emi Sakura then got a victory over Kayoko Haruyama & Command Bolshoi, with Bolshoi taking the fall. Kayoko then showed up at an Ice Ribbon show, replacing Mai Ichii in a tag match and predictably squashing her Ice Ribbon opponents. Emi defended the Ice Ribbon title for the 7th time, beating JWP mid-carder Sachie Abe, and then challenged Kayoko for the JWP title. This match will happen at a Shinjuku FACE show on December 6.
Emi was back at it at Ibuki's final Korakuen Hall show, as she defended for the 8th time over JWP Jr./POP title holer Misaki Ohata. Ohata at least was able to force Emi to use a finisher other than La Magistral, as the Nyan Nyan Press was needed. Other Ibuki action included the Sendai Girls trio of Ryo Mizunami, Hiren, and Yukari Ishino beating Esui, Makoto, and Kazumi Shimouma, with Miz using a Guillotine Drop on Esui. Mizunami is Ohata's next challenger for the junior titles, at Sendai Girls' show on December 20. Other action included Nanae Takahashi beating Shu Shibutani, a draw between Yoshiko Tamura & Ayumi Kurihara versus Kyoko Kimura & Tomoka Nakkagawa, Yoneyama & Leon beating Ray & Natsuki*Taiyo, and Hiroyo Matsumoto scoring a big 29-minute best 2 of 3 falls win over Atsuko Emoto. Emoto scored the first fall with a Modified Moonsault Footstomp (was someone watching Hikari Fukuoka?), but Hiroyo got the next two, including the Liger Bomb for the final fall. Mariko Yoshida appeared to speak, but didn't seem to say anything new about Ibuki's future, which is they are on hiatus and ...?
